What About Celibacy?: What is it?

DISCLAIMER: As much as I hate disclaimers, I have to put this one here, because I don't want any confusion. I DO NOT condone/agree with premature sexual activity. Take that how you will, just don't assume and start rumors.. No joke.

On a TV show I watched recently, a girl asked her male guardian how to know when she would be ready for sex. He started by saying, "Once you try on the shoe, that's it. No going back to your old shoes." That analogy is very true. Once you have sex, there's no going back to virgin. No, honey there's no such thing as a "born again virgin". That's just fallacy and fairy tales my friend.

What some fail to realize is that you don't have to continue once you start. Like I said before, you will NEVER be a virgin again, but it doesn't mean you have to continue having sex. Especially if you are too young to be engaging in sex anyway. There is a magical state of abstinence after you decide to have sex. Poof! CELIBACY! Okay, it's not magical, but it is a great alternative.

What is celibacy?
Celibacy, according to Merriam-Webster, is "an abstention of sexual intercourse or marriage". In other words, saying the nay-no to sex my dilly (in my Pootie Tang voice).
In this case, I will not be discussing the marriage factor though. Oh, and another thing, one does not have to partake in sex in order to be celibate. Say what?
